SEND Provision at Charlestown Primary School
Mrs Munley works with teachers, families and children to ensure that children get the best opportunities to reach their potential whilst at our school.
She has years of experiences, working with families and all external agencies to ensure we put the best provision in place for all children.
If you need to contact Mrs Munley please contact her via email or leave a message with the school office team.
Please note that Mrs Munley teaches part time and so may not be able to see you immediately. If you have urgent concerns please talk to either Mr Clutsom or Mrs Poole.
In the meantime, please look at the types of things we do to adapt our teaching to meet the needs of children with SEND. We have produced a generic list of approaches for all subjects and a specific one for computing (as we were recently designated as an EdTech school for assistive technologies). As with all aspects of our curriculum, if you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher in the first instance via the school office.
If you apply for a place in the school and the number of applications is not greater than 60 then you will be automatically offered a place. However if this number is exceeded, then after the admission of pupils with Education Health Care Plans, where Charlestown Primary is named as the school, the published criteria will be applied.
