A Warm Welcome From

Alana McGovern

Hello, and thank you for visiting our website; we are delighted to welcome you to our school. Charlestown Primary School is located in St Austell, on the edge of Charlestown village and very close to the beautiful beach of Carlyon Bay. Our school is a 2-form of entry primary school for up to 420 pupils aged between 4 and 11.

Central to life at our school is our school vision of ‘Inspire, Enrich, Enlighten’. This vision is shared by everyone at Charlestown from our youngest pupils to our most senior staff and our local governors. This vision complements our Trust Core Shared Values and our Trust Philosophy of ‘work hard, be honest & help others’.

We hope that our website gives you an insight into what our children experience here at Charlestown Primary School.

If you have any queries or would like to visit us and experience our school for yourself to get a glimpse of learning in action, or have a look around our fantastic forest school area and bike track, then please contact our school office team on 01726 812831 or send us an email to charlestown@kernowlearning.co.uk.
